In the city of Oberhausen, the public and private sectors coordinate complementary activities and services for the reception and inclusion of newcomers.
Through the city housing movement, the city of Oberhausen develops contracts with landlords and agencies to provide long-term private housing for migrants.
The NGO kitev provides, among other things, vocational training, cultural and social activities to help the newcomers develop their sense of belonging to this new community.
